SEK Elite offers both high-level training and a home for personal development and joy, catering to all clients. Founder LC Davis welcomes students with three fundamental goals: find self-confidence, seek improvement, and simply have fun. He focuses on building relationships with his students and encourages them to be their best self. As a former top 10 MMA fighter in the world, Davis and his coaching staff of high-level college wrestlers are equipped to guide students to greatness. The benefits don’t stop there! Our History:

LC Davis co-founded SEK Elite with Jason Wilderman in 2019 as a place to bring kids from small communities together. This was never seen as just a business venture to LC. He cultivated the academy to bring kids from southeast Kansas together to compete with areas like Kansas City and Wichita. He hopes to make southeast Kansas the powerhouse of wrestling in the region. LC’s wrestling story began nearly 30 years ago, when he started training at 15 years old. He spent 10 years in professional MMA, finishing with a 23-8 record. LC had always wanted to pass down the martial arts knowledge he’s received, coaching before he even retired from fighting. Davis moved to Pittsburg in 2018 to coach high school wrestling while building up SEK.

Boys & Girls Ages 6-18

We started SEK Elite Wrestling in 2019 with the goal to get the best kids in the area on the mats together! We believe in the Steel Sharpens Steel concept! SEK Elite Wrestling can now take it a step further by offering local wrestlers a facility to train year-round! This will provide more opportunities to train with not only great practices partners but also high level coaches!

Requirements:

• One Year year of experience (Elite)
• Current USA Wrestling Membership

Boys & Girls Ages 6-18

At SEK Elite, our Youth MMA program is designed to build strength, discipline, and self-confidence in a safe and supportive environment. Open to boys and girls ages 6-18, this class introduces young athletes to the exciting world of Mixed Martial Arts, combining striking, grappling, and self-defense techniques. Whether your child is new to martial arts or has experience in other sports, our experienced coaches will guide them through age-appropriate drills and techniques, helping them develop both physically and mentally.

With no prior experience required, our Youth MMA program is perfect for kids and teens looking to stay active, gain valuable skills, and have fun while doing it. At SEK Elite, we foster a sense of teamwork, resilience, and growth in every student—on and off the mats!

Adults 13+

Striking Fit at SEK Elite is a fast-paced, high-energy class designed to get you in the best shape of your life while learning real-world self-defense techniques. This hour of Champ Work combines powerful strikes—punches, kicks, knees, and elbows—with bodyweight exercises to give you a full-body workout like no other. Our expert coaches guide you through dynamic rounds of striking, with calisthenics sprinkled in between to boost endurance, strength, and agility.

Whether you’re looking to get fit, burn calories, or sharpen your striking skills, Striking Fit offers an engaging and effective workout for all fitness levels. Join us and unleash your inner champion!

Adults 13+

SEK Elite’s Adult MMA program is designed for those looking to train like a fighter, whether you’re aiming to compete or simply push your fitness to the next level. This class offers a comprehensive blend of striking, grappling, and conditioning, drawing from disciplines like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, and Boxing.

Our expert coaches will help you build endurance, strength, and technical skills in a safe, supportive environment. Whether you’re a beginner or have previous martial arts experience, Adult MMA will challenge you to grow physically and mentally while teaching you practical self-defense.
