Johnny Akin
Instructor Johnny Akin has spent his recent years making a name for himself in local wrestling. The Gardner native wrestled for four years at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. There, he medaled at state all four years, including winning the 2020 5A State Wrestling Championship. Johnny spent his first two years out of Kansas high school wrestling at William Jewell and Central Missouri University. He now is majoring in Sports Management at Pitt State University while coaching wrestling in Pittsburg on our mats.
